The Psychosocial Impacts of Whistleblower Retaliation

Jacqueline Garrick is the founder of Whistleblowers of America. She has been a social worker supporting the military/veterans and their families for more than 30 years. She has worked for the Departments of Defense and Veterans Affairs, Congress, The American Legion and was an Army officer. She has brought her expertise to the whistleblower community as well because she saw a similar need. Whistleblowers, like veterans, experience hostile environments, fight for what's right, and suffer the consequences causing depression, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and suicide.
